Namib
They say it is the oldest desert in the world; I know it is the most beautiful. At dawn, the red dunes of Sossusvlei ignite and clash with the relentless blue sky, tracing geometric paths helped by the wind. The acacias of Deadvlei have stood there for 900 years, on cracked white clay. Dry, not dead. Silent.
Taking photos here requires little effort. The desert gives them to you, asking only to keep a fragment of your soul in return.
